A UK woman who spend over NZ$180 to meet a Tinder date who dumped her for being "too fat" has received hundreds of pounds from strangers, and even offers of dates.

Jade Savage, a 28-year-old single mum from Leicester, travelled three-and-a-half hours on the train to see her date. However upon meeting her at the station, he reportedly told Savage she had "put some weight on" and accused her of looking nothing like she had on a previous date — just four weeks earlier.
Speaking to the Sun, Savage says when she got to the station, her potential beau said "F*** me, you have put some weight on haven't you?' I was like, 'No, you can't say that".
"It was clear he wanted to call the whole thing off but I still hoped we could have a nice time so we went to his car.
"But he said, 'I can say it, it's a fact. You have put weight on, so therefore I can joke about it.'
"I called him a pr*** but he then went berserk and said, 'You what, you think I'm a pr***?' He drove me back to the station and told me I had put him in a bad mood and that I had to go home."
Despite the terrible experience, Savage has had the last laugh, after setting up a humorous GoFundMe to get her money back.
Donations so far have totalled £876 (NZ$1680) with other donors offering to take her out.
Chris Curtis donated £10 and told her "Bollocks to men like that. I'd come to Leeds and take you out than have you take the train.
"Have a bottle of wine on me!"
