When Dunc Wilson set off to bike the coastline of New Zealand he thought he would learn a few things about the country, make a few memories, and raise some cash for St John along the way.
After several months riding a bike up beaches, tracks and roads, meeting generous, and sometimes unusual people all against the background of Aotearoa's most stunning scenery, he realised the adventure unfolding had enough yarns for a book.
Well, he's written that book and The Big Loop is available in stores today.
