A Stranger Things inspired bar is to hit Auckland.

Brave attendees will finally be able to visit the other-side in the "Upside Down Bar" to open on Sunday, June 28, 2020.

Visitors will see Joyce Byers' house, illuminated alphabet and eggos on the roof, according to Concrete Playground.

They are also promised the chance to attempt a "dark and dangerous mission".

The pop-up bar will include drinks such as Demogorgon slushies, Eleven's Eggos, a Snack Pack made with mezcal and passionfruit and a Mouthbreather number.

The bar's location is currently hidden but people should expect to see plenty of 80's pop culture references, arcade games.

As the event is 18 plus, parents should not bring children.
