Take a closer look at the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G

The new Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has just been launched in New Zealand and it’s worth a closer look.

The camera on this phone is amazing, so whether it’s bite-sized content for TikTok or more creative productions, you can trust that the camera features on the Mate 30 Pro 5G will be more than enough.

Huawei calls it the SuperSensing Cine Camera, and it's so good it’s been used to create short films.

With 5G now available in New Zealand, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G is one of the few 5G capable phones on the market.

It's worth mentioning the long battery life on this phone as well. It's something that sets it apart from some of its biggest rivals, and it's incredibly fast at recharging when you need to.

Having spent a week with the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, there are some obvious features that make it an eye catching accessory for any user of modern technology.

The first and most obvious is the SuperSensing Cine camera is that you can shoot a short movie, and the Water Drop screen seamlessly bends its way around the edges of the phone - the display itself is also incredibly clear with high resolution.

Images and video look amazing regardless of whether it’s content you created yourself or are watching online.

The Mate 30 Pro 5G has premium hardware, however people may wonder whether their favourite daily Apps are working, and the answer will be yes.

Three easy methods

1. Once you get this phone, it's easy to transfer apps and content from your old phone, and can be done within a couple of minutes using Huawei's Phone Clone app.

The Phone Clone allows you to transfer apps easily, and some of the most popular apps are available, such as Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, Tik Tok and Spotify. Local apps such as Air New Zealand, main banking and news apps plus Vodafone, Spark and 2 Degrees are all available too.

It had everything I needed in terms of apps I'd use every day. Facebook, Instagram, Slack and of course, emails.

I also liked the variety of apps available in the app gallery. As someone who works with social media content a lot, the amount of apps that allows users to download, bookmark or upload content to all of the major social platforms. From my experience there was no lagging and the Apps worked fine, straight away.

2. The Huawei App Gallery is the second way to download Apps, you can find popular Apps from there, such as Tik Tok, booking.com, New Zealand Radio and Ali Express, etc.

It is also a great phone to use for creating content for what is soon becoming the most influential app in the world, TikTok.

3. Any restrictions you may come across when trying to access apps designed by other mobile phone manufacturers can easily be worked around using the Huawei browser. For example, you can head to Uber.com and create a shortcut that saves to your home screen and quickly use the website to order a car from there.

Huawei has come a long way in the evolving technology industry, and is quickly becoming a leading solutions-focused brand in New Zealand.

The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G is the perfect device to take phone technology to the next level.
