The COVID-19 lockdown has been marked by many things: home workouts, 'bubbles' and the resurgence of baking sourdough.

Without a doubt one of those things is the rise of Dalgona coffee, the fluffy aesthetically pleasing South Korean coffee trend which took off on social media.

The DIY whipped coffee treat became regular on Instagram and TikTok, racking up millions of tags and homemade recipes. To make it, you just need to mix equal parts sugar, instant coffee and water, and whip until it creates a fluffy consistency.

Now, if you're so inclined, you can make an even more Instagrammable version: a pink fluffy whipped treat which will make all your millennial dreams come true.

Simply subbing in a pink milk powder like Nesquick will result in a candyfloss-like cloud, as seen here on the Instagram of 'Sweet Portfolio'.

"All you need is 1 tbsp of Strawberry Nesquik and 4 tbsp (1/4 cup) of heavy whipping cream. Mix it until your arm is numb and serve over cold or hot milk," the caption reads.

The caffeine-less version is a great one to make for kids if you were hesitant about serving them masses of instant coffee. Granted this seems more of a dessert, but definitely something to try when you need a little lockdown pick-me-up. ⁣
