The race is on to save our endangered species and one North Island wildlife wonderland has the perfect spot for them to thrive.
Sanctuary Mountain already offers a safe haven for many of New Zealand's most endangered species, including kiwi, takahē and tuatara.
But now they need our help to save the kakapo, arguably one of New Zealand's favourite birds.
