A UK woman who questioned why her builder left halfway through a job on her home was left shocked by his bizarre and explicit proposition to "make love".

Amy Wilks hired a local builder to replaster her kitchen, but says three days into the job "he just disappeared".

"No text, no 'I'm off', nothing," she added in her post in the Girlsmouth Facebook group, which has over 150,000 members.

Wilks sent him a text message to ask where the builder had disappeared to, and if he'd be returning.

But his inappropriate reply describing an explicit scenario that sent chills down her spine.

"No, I'm not coming back... If I do, I'm going to want to take you to bed... [and] make love to you," the text read, according to a screenshot.

He also proposed an oral sex act in explicit detail.

"So that's why I'm not coming back - I want to do naughty things to you," another text reads.

"Now if you're up for that then I'll come back up. Don't worry about the money - not bothered about that."

Wilks shared the screenshot to the Facebook group, saying she was in "so much shock" she wasn't able to respond.

"Any suggestions ladies?... Silver lining I got half my kitchen done," she said.

Thousands of people commented on the post, with one person saying: "Wtf - bit of a creep needs reporting."

"Wow he sounds proper professional and dedicated to his line of work," another wrote.

"Omg creepy... does he have problems controlling his urges? He shouldn't be working with the public," wrote another.

Wilks added she had "only made him a cup of tea a few times in my fluffy pjs".

She didn't reveal how she was planning to handle the situation, but we think it might be one for the police.
