Reality star Kourtney Kardashian has shared her love for a Kiwi makeup brand, which uses organic, natural ingredients like avocado oil and cinnamon.

Kardashian runs wellness website Poosh, where she advocates for 'clean' beauty products and healthy living.

In a recent Instagram story showcasing her toxin-free makeup kit, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star tagged three lip colours from New Zealand makeup label Karen Murrell.

Pink lip shade 'Rhymba Rhythm', a brown known as 'Cordovan Natural' and a nude known as 'Blushing Rose' all feature in Kardashian's bag, shown to her 103 million Instagram followers.

Murrell told Newshub the relationship with Kardashian began on Instagram, after she shared a post asking fans for their suggestions on clean beauty brands.

"We sent her a number of shades from our collection to trial," says Murrell. "It was very exciting to see the social media tag alert pop up on our phones over the weekend from Kourtney, it's so encouraging to see New Zealand health, wellness and beauty brands gaining traction from such high profile publicity such as this in recent times".

The eldest Kardashian sibling tends to favour nude lip shades and Murrell says her team had noted in house that they thought she may have been rocking their best selling 'Cordovan Natural' nude lipstick shade in recent months.

Ingredients used Karen Murrell's lipstick line include avocado oil, night primrose oil, candelilla and jojoba.

It's not the first time Kardashian has shown love for a Kiwi beauty range. Back in 2016, she was announced as the celebrity ambassador for Manuka Doctor, a skincare line using purified bee venom.

More recently, Kardashian came under fire for spreading a conspiracy theory that disposable face masks cause cancer.
