After a long year of the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdowns, we're all looking forward to spending Christmas with family and friends, eating delicious food and relaxing in the sunshine.

But Christmas can also be a time of extreme stress and indecision as you attempt to figure out what to buy for friends, family, in-laws, your kid's teacher etc.

We're here to help with a definitive Newshub Christmas gift guide series.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, which is lucky because this year, many of us be holding a lot of beauty products.

There has well and truly been a great skincare boom in 2020 as many of us had nothing to do but sit indoors slapping stuff on our faces in an effort to feel better.

Now we're allowed back out in public - and thank God, because what would Christmas be without the beautiful festive makeup limited edition releases and beauty edits?

Of course, all beauty fans know the ultimate present this year would be a one-way ticket to Sydney to lie down on the cool floor of the newly opened Mecca flagship store forever.

But with that off the table for the time being, here is our selection of the best gifts for the beauty junkie in your life.

The perfect stocking stuffer or Secret Santa present for that skincare fan, this spiked jade roller is amazing for draining away puffy tired faces at the end of a long big year. Designed to enhance skincare routines, promote circulation and encourage skin cell rejuvenation, the beauty roller works to stimulate the lymphatic system helping to combat puffiness and water retention. Said to be crafted from authentic jade stone, the new spiked addition provides stronger stimulation and intensity than its classic rose quartz counterpart. Keep it in the fridge for extra cooling goodness on a muggy summer day.
