The man who's defied all odds

Matt Aldridge was speed-flying at around 60km/h when he crashed into a rocky outcrop in Christchurch's Port Hills.

He was severely injured, and told he would never move his legs again.

Yet two years later, he's just completed a half-triathlon. 

He spoke to The AM Show.
