Satisfy your sweet-tooth with an indulgent Oreo chocolate pie. With a pie crust made from Oreo's iconic biscuits, this no-bake dessert is a hit with adults and kids alike.

For this recipe, you don't need an oven or any fancy equipment - just a trusty freezer to solidify the crust and a stove to make the creamy filling. Take your children through the cooking process for a fun bonding activity over the weekend - or whip this up to impress your Valentine.

Serves 2-4

For the pie crust

  • 1 packet Oreo cookies, cream removed
  • 100g butter, melted.

For the filling

  • 500ml dark chocolate
  • 400ml liquid whipping cream.

For garnish

  • 9 Oreo cookies
  • 8 red Oreo cookies
  • 200ml whipping cream
  • 4 strawberries
  • 10 mint leaves.

1. Make the pie crust

  • Separate the Oreo cookies from the cream and discard the cream.

  • Place the cookies in a mortar and pestle and crush them until they become small crumbs.

  • Place the crumbs into a mixing bowl and add the melted butter. Mix well to combine and set aside.

  • Into the pie pan, place an even layer of the pie dough, about 0.5cm high. Pat the cookie dough down to ensure it is tightly packed and the surface is evenly smooth.

  • Freeze the pie crust for about one hour.

2. Make the filling

  • Into a pan, add the liquid whipping cream and dark chocolate.

  • Cook on medium heat until the dark chocolate has melted. Stir to blend the chocolate with the cream.

  • Remove from heat to cool at room temperature.
