Eye health: Why it's important to go for regular eye checks even if you have 20/20 vision

This JulEYE, we're raising awareness of eye health and the importance of regular eye checks for all adults – even if you have 20/20 vision.

Most eye diseases and eye health problems don't have visible symptoms until they are fairly advanced, which means that something can be going on with your eyes without you even realising or experiencing any kind of change in your vision. You should have an eye test at least every two years or more frequently if advised by your Specsavers optometrist.

Specsavers Optometrist David Aldridge talks to AM about why Jul-Eye is important, what OCT is and how it can help optometrists detect eye diseases. Watch the video above to learn more.
