The Kardashians reveal their bizarre end-of-life demands, including hip bone and ashes jewellery

No one really likes talking about death. We all know it's inevitable, but it's like tax; an inescapable part of life we like to ignore and pretend doesn't happen.

Unless, of course, you're a Kardashian, who seem to welcome discussions about their own mortality - probably because in 50 years they'll all still be perfectly preserved.

On the latest episode of The Kardashians, family matriarch Kris Jenner, 66, and her daughters Khloé Kardashian, 38, and Kylie Jenner, 25, had a candid chat about their end-of-life requests, a discussion prompted by their mother's hip replacement surgery earlier this year.

"My family and I, we talk about wills, death, we tell each other what our wishes would be if something terrible were to happen," Khloé shared.

During the episode, the 38-year-old revealed that at one point, Jenner had requested that necklaces be made out of her ashes, presumably as keepsakes for her children to wear. For the love of God, please don't tell me there's a 'Kardashian Keepsakes' range on the horizon.

"Remember when you wanted your ashes - you wanted to be cremated and your ashes be made into necklaces for us?" Khloé asked her mother, to which Jenner enthused, "that's a great idea!"

But Khloé clearly isn't a fan, replying: "That's weird."

"No, it's not," Jenner shot back.

Meanwhile, Jenner revealed her second-eldest daughter Kim had proposed the idea of turning her mother's bones into jewellery - and had actually asked Jenner's surgeon to save her hip bones following the procedure.

"Kim asked the doctor to save her my bones so she could make jewellery out of it [sic]," Jenner said, admitting the concept was "creepy". Remember, Kim is the woman who said she'd eat human faeces if it helped her look younger.

Khloé then divulged a clause in her own will, which dare I say it, is perhaps the most normal of the bunch.

"If I'm in a coma, I'm still getting my nails done once a week. And that's in my will because people are going to visit me," she said.

The family then reportedly moved on to a conversation about their thoughts on a mausoleum.

As per TMZ, the Kardashians aren't the only ones considering accessories made of ashes. According to reports, the late rapper Coolio's 10 children are in the process of designing jewellery that will hold some of their father's cremated remains. The rapper died aged 59 last month.
