An eight-year-old was devastated after hardly anyone showed up to his birthday party.
In a now-deleted TikTok, the boy's mother shared a video of her son waiting for his friends to turn up.
The mother explained in the TikTok video the party was from 4:00pm until 6:00pm and only a couple of guests showed up an hour late.
"I invited 30 kids and two guests finally turned up," she said in the TikTok video.
As time dragged on, the birthday boy put his head on a table and told his mum: "I am going to nap so time can go faster and my friends show up."
According to News.com.au reported before the video was deleted it had over three million views and 510,000 likes.
The TikTok video comes after another mother found herself in a similar situation when she organised a birthday party for her daughter and none of the guests turned up.
Breanna Strong shared a video of her daughter and said she had invited 27 children to the birthday party and no one showed up.
"Not a single one of her friends showed up," she said in the TikTok clip.
