Kiwis interested in learning more about farming are being welcomed to head along to a local working farm this coming weekend.

Open Farms is back for its third year on March 12, hoping to reconnect New Zealanders with our land, food and local farmers.

Ahead of the day, The Project NZ sent Lana Walters to a farm to test out her skills - with mixed results.
