Julia Fox has once again stepped out in her undergarments, almost a year to the day that she wore matching undies - with deconstructed jeans as a handbag - to do her supermarket shop.
The Uncut Gems (sorry, "Uncah Jams") star, 33, rocked a pair of Diesel underpants while filling up a Pontiac GT at a Los Angeles petrol station late last week, teaming the grey boxer shorts with a blazer, fuzzy green handbag and cropped tee sporting the slogan, 'High Class, White Trash'. To complete the look, she slid on feathery heeled mules and added a pair of futuristic frames.
The meme-orable star has cultivated a reputation for her weird and wonderful wardrobe over the past year, often opting for avant-garde, love-it-or-hate-it leather ensembles with her signature black eye-makeup. Honourable mentions include her clawed hand and human hair accessories at the 2022 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, her centaur-meets-dominatrix all-leather look at this year's New York Fashion Week, and a tube top made of literal condoms last week.
Last May, Fox urged people to embrace the underwear-as-outerwear trend and normalise undergarments in society after she was papped wearing a matching bra-and-pants set with deconstructed denim at a Los Angeles supermarket.
"I think that if it's socially acceptable at the beach, it should be the same everywhere, lol," Fox later mused on her Instagram Story.
The Italian-American model and actor first rose to prominence following her debut performance in Uncut Gems in 2019. However, Fox's 'big break' arguably came in January 2022 when it was confirmed she was dating controversial rapper Kanye West, thrusting the burgeoning but little-known actor into the spotlight.
The whirlwind relationship was short-lived however, with the two splitting a mere six weeks later. A few days after, Fox claimed she dated West purely to "give people something to talk about" amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
What will she wear next? Whatever it might be, I'm already here for it.
