Eye health: Expert tips to relieve some of the symptoms caused by menopause

World Menopause Day is coming up on October 18 and it's an important time to raise awareness of some of the lesser-known symptoms when it comes to your eye health.

Menopause is often associated with hot flashes, mood changes and weight fluctuations, however, what many people don't realise is the significant impact it can have on women's eye health.

Decreased tear production is one of the most common problems women face during menopause, so going for eye exams may help detect underlying eye conditions and provide appropriate treatment options. Specsavers optometrist David Aldridge shares some of the helpful ways you can relieve the symptoms.
