May is Westpac Chopper Appeal month and Westpac’s goal is to raise over $1 million for Aotearoa’s rescue helicopters.
On Friday 10 May over 100 cyclists are taking off on a 235km ride from Queenstown to Invercargill for the 13th Annual Chopper Bike Ride, a fundraiser started by the local Westpac team in Southland. The funds raised from this event will go directly to the Lakes District and Otago Regional rescue helicopters who flew 2,123 missions between them last year.
