Hubbards is recalling its BeMighty Blueberry & Seeds granola due to the presence of undeclared allergens from a packaging mishap.
A batch of Hubbards' Simply Toasted Muesli Berry has been incorrectly packaged as BeMighty Blueberry & Seeds granola and contains milk and soy.
The batch being recalled has a best before date of 23 April, 2025.
People with a milk and soy allergy are being urged not to consume the product, however the cereal is fine to eat for those that don't have an allergy.
The product is sold at supermarkets throughout New Zealand. NZ Food Safety is ordering retailers to display a poster informing customers of the recall for a month.
"Customers with a milk or soy allergy should return the product to their retailer for a full refund or phone 0800 42 67 35 if you wish to courier it to Walter & Wild Ltd," NZ Food Safety said.
