Dairy prices have slightly dropped at Fonterra's fortnightly global auction.
Overall prices were down 1.4 percent with wholemilk powder bucking the trend, up 0.7 percent.
The fall in the overall price follows two previous rises.
The overall price was dragged down by butter prices.
The average price for both butter and buttermilk powder fell by 5.5 percent.
Cheddar prices rose by 1.8 percent.
The fall in the GDT Index Price overnight followed a rise of 3.8 percent at the previous auction two weeks ago.
