Whole milk powder prices have risen at the overnight GlobalDairyTrade auction.
New Zealand's major dairy export product rose 1.9 percent, to an average price of US$2,079 per tonne.
The rise in price follows what had been four consecutive falls at the GDT auctions.
Whole milk powder was trading at an average price of US$1,952 at the start of the year.
The GDT Price Index was unchanged, with an average price of US$2,336.
Butter fell by 5 percent to US$2,687.
Butter milk powder slipped by 0.5 percent to US$1,565.
Cheddar lost 1.1 percent, trading at an average price of US$2,886.
Skim milk powder was also down, by 1.1 percent to US$1,927.
Lactose fell 4 percent to US$721.
