Westpac Bank has confirmed it is closing 19 of its branches throughout New Zealand.
The branches are in both rural and metro areas, including a number in Christchurch.
The affected branches are:
Sixty staff are expected to lose their jobs.
The bank says the affected branches will be shut by early November.
