Confectionary giant Mars is following the lead of Coca-Cola and other brands jumping on the healthy bandwagon with its new low calorie chocolate bar - its first new product in 20 years.
Called Goodness Knows, the bars are only 160 calories each and consist of fruits, oats and nuts with a layer of dark chocolate.
Snickers bars have 250 calories and Mars bars have 228 calories, making the new bar significantly healthier.
The product comes in three different types - Cranberry and Almond, Blueberry and Almond and Apple, Peanut and Almond and is due to hit UK shops on August 4.
Newshub has contacted Mars NZ to see if it will be released in New Zealand.
