Independence day has come with bargains for ex-pat Americans or Kiwis looking to travel to the US.
Return flights from New Zealand to the United States are now on sale for as little as $799.
The first 150 customers who take up Helloworld's USA sale can fly return on Qantas to Los Angeles or San Francisco for as little as $799.
And for $100 more, another 150 customers will be able to fly return to New York.
The flights on offer fly out of Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch and travel via Sydney before heading north.
Travel periods for Los Angeles and San Francisco are between October 1 and November 17 this year and January 20 and March 28 next year.
New York travel periods are for August 20 to September 6, October 1 to November 30 this year and January 20 to March 28 next year.
There is a catch however, these flights can only be purchased when booking with three or more nights' accommodation, a tour or a cruise.
The deal comes as airfares drop around the world as more airlines open for business and extend their markets.
In March, Philippine Airlines offered return flights from Auckland to London for only $979.
