Krispy Kreme unveils opening day in New Zealand

It's official, Krispy Kreme is coming to New Zealand, and now we can finally unveil opening day as well as how you can get some free donuts.

Based in Manukau, doors to the first New Zealand Krispy Kreme flagship store will officially open at 8.00am on Wednesday, 28th February 2018.

The new state-of-the-art store will offer Aucklanders a retail shop and drive-thru and all the doughnuts will be made fresh, daily from its on-site factory.

Andrew McGuigan, CEO of Krispy Kreme, Australia and New Zealand, says: "Over the years, we’ve been overwhelmed by the demand from Kiwis for Krispy Kreme to hit these shores and we are now extremely excited to be finally launching in New Zealand, making it the 35th country in the world to enjoy our much-loved sweet treats.

"Once our renowned Krispy Kreme ‘Hot Now’ sign is switched on, our Auckland store will be open for business and customers can expect to enjoy the authentic Krispy Kreme experience – warm, melt-in-your-mouth doughnuts, barista-crafted coffee and much more."
