Lotto is searching for the winner of a $6.5 million prize which has gone unclaimed for almost two weeks.
The winning ticket was sold on December 27 at Levin Lucky Lotto, but nobody has come forward.
Shop owner Dave Lyons says the store is always busier over the Christmas period - so the winning ticket could be almost anywhere.
"Locals [come] in to grab presents... visitors [stop] off as they drive through on their holidays."
"The store has been buzzing over the past two weeks, with people coming in to see if their ticket is the winner or to see if anyone has claimed the prize yet."
Lotto NZ general manager corporate communications Emilia Mazur says it's a "life-changing" prize.
"We're encouraging anyone who bought a ticket from Levin Lucky Lotto late last year to check their ticket - it could be worth $6.5 million.
"Or maybe someone received a Lotto ticket as a gift in which case, we recommend you shake out your Christmas card and see if that little yellow ticket is about to change your life."
Anyone who purchased a ticket from the Levin Lucky Lotto is encouraged to write their name on the back of the ticket and head in to claim their prize.
