The Battersea property is narrower than a three-seater couch and requires custom-made 'skinny furniture'.
Owner Aimee Luther says she absolutely loves it.
"It's the talk of the town," she told 7 News.
"Everybody comes and has a look at it and I often find people trying to touch each side of the house outside."
It was originally an access road between two other properties, and converted to a house in the 1800s.
While it doesn't look very spacious from the outside, the three-level house boasts four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a garden, and substantial specially-built storage.
"I think the trick of the trade is to have somewhere to put everything," she told 7 News.
"Everything needs a home."
Ms Luther is moving to the country, and so has put the slim house on the market.
