Powerball struck four times in four weeks

There's been another big win in Lotto.

A lucky player from Silverdale struck Powerball on Wednesday night, scooping $7.2 million in last night's draw. Most of that - $7 million - came from the Powerball, the rest from first division.

This is the fourth time in as many weeks that Powerball first division has been won.

Four others got first division, each taking home $200,000. They were from Lower Hutt, Nelson, Christchurch and Gore.

Strike Four was won by two players using the MyLotto app. They were from Tauranga and Waikato, and take home $50,000 each.
