It's not quite the Mega Millions won by a still-unknown punter in the US, but one lucky Kiwi is $300,000 richer following Saturday night's Lotto draw.
The Aucklander hit the Strike jackpot with a ticket bought on MyLotto.
Powerball was missed, and rolls over to $8 million on Wednesday night. Lotto first division will be $1 million and Strike will be $100,000.
The winning Strike numbers were 17, 15, 34 and 18. The main draw numbers were 10, 12, 15, 17, 18 and 34. Powerball was 2, Bonus ball 23.
No one won first division. One lucky gambler got division two with the Powerball, taking home $37,669.
