Instagram, the photo sharing social media app, experienced a 45-minute worldwide outage on Tuesday.

Instagram has not released any information yet as to why the service crashed.

Users took to Twitter almost instantly to complain about the crash.

Some users reported the app was back up and running at around 2:20pm, and it was confirmed working as usual by 2:32.
