Robots giving financial advice may not sound like the most trusted place to fling your life's savings, but despite current laws largely prohibiting it, it's starting to happen.
Nikko Asset Management New Zealand are just one of four outfits granted a special exemption by the FMA that allows them to give advice via something other than 'a natural person'.
So, should you trust a robot to offer you sound advice? And will this be the norm in ten years' time?
