The Labour market figures for the March quarter are expected to be released on Wednesday and economists are waiting to see if the unemployment rate changes.
The unemployment rate is currently 4.3 percent, and with solid employment growth and good migration numbers, it will stay reasonably flat, according to former chief ANZ economist Cameron Bagrie.
He told The AM Show that there has been some volatility quarter to quarter.
