Strike was struck in Saturday night's Lotto draw, making a lucky gambler from Napier $600,000 richer.
They bought their ticket from Countdown Carlyle in Napier.
The big prize - Powerball - wasn't won however, so will rise to $10 million on Wednesday. Lotto's normal first division will be $1 million.
The winning numbers for Strike were 23, 8, 34 and 31. The Lotto six were 8, 12, 17, 23, 31 and 34. The Bonus ball was 40, the Powerball 8.
The biggest prize won on Saturday night that wasn't Strike went to 12 division two winners who didn't hit the Powerball, each taking home $21,357.
