One lucky Kiwi won a staggering $17.2 million in Saturday's Lotto draw.
The punter, who purchased their ticket in Twizel, successfully took out Lotto Powerball, meaning they are now $17,166,667 richer.
Saturday's winning numbers were 6, 10, 16, 24, 28 and 34. The bonus ball was 38, while Powerball was 2. The strike numbers were 10, 28, 24, and 16.
Five others won Division 1 - taking home $166,667 - while another person won Division 2, scooping up a nice $54,387.
Strike Four rolled over and will reach $400,000 on Wednesday.
Lotto has described 2019 as an "incredible year of luck", with 16 New Zealanders becoming overnight millionaires by taking out Powerball.
The biggest successful Lotto win this year belonged to a young woman from Inglewood, who took home $22.3 million. Two Auckland players also each won $19.1 million.
Saturday's draw was the last of the decade.
