A lucky Auckland gambler won't be relying on Santa for riches this Christmas.
They're $1 million richer after winning first division in Wednesday night's Lotto draw.
The winning ticket was sold at Onehunga Mall Superette.
The prize could have been much bigger if they'd hit the Powerball - which will rise to $13 million on Saturday.
Strike Four was also missed, and will rise to $700,000.
The winning numbers were 6, 19, 21, 24, 32 and 34. The Bonus ball was 30, the Powerball 2. Strike was 32, 6, 24 and 19.
