Lotto: Wednesday's numbers revealed

Someone out there is $1 million richer after Wednesday's Lotto draw.

Although the Powerball jackpot rolled over, one lucky punter walked away with a million-dollar prize after winning division one of the regular draw.

Ten people also won more than $18,000 in division two.

There was $8 million up for grabs in the Powerball draw, with that prize now rolling over to Saturday's draw.

Wednesday's winning numbers were: 35, 4, 6, 29, 21, 32, the Bonus ball was 2 and the Powerball was 7.

The most-recent Powerball jackpot was won on December 28, with one winning ticket worth $17.1 million.

However, as of yet, no one has come forward claiming the windfall, prompting Lotto NZ to say a private investigator may be called in to help them find the new millionaire.

The ticket was bought from the Market Store, in the small Canterbury town of Twizel.

A spokesperson for Lotto NZ said every effort would be made to find the winner in the coming weeks.

In August last year, a ticket worth $12.2 million went unclaimed for two weeks, though the winner was eventually tracked down through information provided when they bought it online.

In October last year, two winners split a massive $38 million Powerball jackpot.

They each walked away with more than $19 million each.

The winners - both from Auckland - said they planned on treating themselves and their families to a holiday after their good fortune.

The $38 million prize was the second-highest ever won in New Zealand.

The highest prize ever was in 2016, when a couple from the Hibiscus Coast won a staggering $44 million.
