Lotto: Powerball rises to $28 million after no one scores on Wednesday

Powerball has risen to a mind-boggling $28 million after no one scored lucky on Wednesday night.

The numbers for Wednesday's draw were: 2, 11, 25, 21, 32, and 20. The Bonus Ball was 7 and Powerball was 3.

However, neither Powerball nor Strike were hit. Strike Four will reached $400,000 on Saturday, while Lotto First Division will be $1 million.

One Southland player got lucky on Saturday, pocketing $1 million after winning First Division.

Lotto says the First Division prize was sold at the Tuatapere Four Square in Southland.

Three players from throughout the North Island also won prizes, each taking home $133,333 after winning Strike Four.

In January, someone who won an incredible $17.1 million finally came forward to collect their cash.

Their ticket was purchased from the Market Store in the small Canterbury town of Twizel on December 28, 2019.

"I wasn't in a rush to claim the prize - and I needed some time to process things," the unnamed winner said.

"It's all been very surreal."
