COVID-19: What a 'gig economy' is and what it would mean for New Zealand

COVID-19 has changed the way we work with a need to move faster towards a "gig economy".

A recent survey found 86 percent of Kiwis expect more flexibility to work from home and 45 percent of employers have seen a significant increase in productivity.

So, what exactly is a gig-economy and what would it mean for New Zealand?
