Get your Lotto ticket - a staggering $23 million is up for grabs tonight in a massive Powerball draw.
Saturday's combined prize pool is worth $24.2 million, which is made up mostly of the $23 million available through Powerball and bolstered by the Lotto first division jackpot of $1 million and a $200,000 Strike prize.
While the Powerball prize has been building up for weeks, one lucky punter last Wednesday will be celebrating after taking home the first division prize.
The Auckland player struck gold and will be popping the champagne after winning $1 million. Lotto says the winning ticket was sold at Paper Plus Ponsonby in Auckland.
Strike Four was also won tonight by a player from Gisborne, who took home $200,000. The winning Strike ticket was sold at Grant Bros in Gisborne.
"Anyone who bought their ticket from the above winning stores should write their name on the back and check their ticket at any Lotto outlet, online at MyLotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ app," a Lotto spokesperson said.
