Lotto's $38m jackpot numbers: Are you New Zealand's newest Powerball multi-millionaire?

The numbers for Saturday's Lotto have been drawn and there's a massive $38 million Powerball jackpot up for grabs.

To go along with this staggering sum is a first division prize of $1 million and $400,000 for Strike.

The numbers are 11, 23, 28, 4, 16, and 7. The bonus ball is 36. The Powerball is 5.

If a single player wins Powerball tonight it will be the second-largest Powerball prize ever won in the history of the game, which dates back to 2001.

"We can't wait to meet New Zealand's next multi-millionaire and the champagne will be on ice if anyone does win big this weekend," says Lotto's head of communications Marie Winfield.

The largest-ever single Powerball prize of $44.1 million was taken home by a young Hibiscus Coast couple in November 2016. Recently the jackpots have been shared between multiple winners.

A total of seven multi-millionaires have been made with Powerball so far in 2020, with an average winning amount of $14.1 million. Since its inception, Powerball first division has been won a total of 191 times.
