Lotto: Six players split first division prize, Powerball rolls over

A bumper $38 million will be up for grabs in Saturday's Lotto draw with Powerball not being struck on Wednesday night.

If a single player wins - it will be the second-largest prize ever won in New Zealand.

Meanwhile, six players got a slice of the first division spoils on Wednesday - all claiming $166,667 each.

Wednesday's biggest winner was a Strike Four player from Mosgiel who bagged $400,000.

The lucky numbers were 22, 20, 5, 9, 19 and 24. The Bonus ball was 6, and the Powerball 4.

Powerball's largest prize of $44.1 million was taken home by a young Hibiscus Coast couple in November 2016.
