Lotto: Lucky Bay of Plenty player pockets $1 million

A lucky Bay of Plenty Lotto player has pocketed $1 million in Saturday night's draw.

The winner, from Mt Maunganui, was the lone winner of the First Division prize.

Another nine players are also $26,374 richer after taking out Division Two.

The winning Mt Maunganui ticket was bought from Bayfair Lotto.

Powerball's top-tier prize went unclaimed and will roll over to $5 million in Wednesday's draw.

The Strike Four jackpot will also roll over to $300,000.

Last week, a Powerball punter from Rotorua struck $8.5 million, which came just two weeks after a Te Aroha player won $4.5 million.
