Lotto: Staggering $17m up for grabs in Saturday's big draw

Lotto has skyrocketed to a staggering $17 million on Saturday after weeks without a big win.

The big prize is made from a $16m Powerball prize and $1m for first division. Strike four is also $400,000.

If you want to buy a ticket, Lotto counters outside the Auckland region are open and will continue to follow the Government's health and safety guidelines.

Inside the Auckland region, stores that can run under alert level 3 guidelines can open their Lotto counters if they want, however Lotto says it may take a few days for them to get back up and running.

In the meantime, customers can continue to purchase their tickets online at www.MyLotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ App.

Live Lotto draws can't take place while Auckland remains in alert level 3 due to health and safety guidelines while filming the live draw.

Lotto will continue using computer-generated draws for Lotto, Powerball, and Strike instead.
