An Otago Lotto player is $1 million richer after winning the first division prize on Wednesday night.
The winning ticket was sold on the MyLotto app.
Powerball wasn't struck and will roll over to $17 million for Saturday night's draw.
Eleven other players claimed prizes in the second division - winning $22,957 each.
Two players from Auckland and Tasman will also be enjoying their Wednesday night after winning $31,253 in Powerball's second division.
