Lotto: Two lucky winners split first division

Two Lotto players will be celebrating after splitting first division in Saturday's draw.

The winning tickets were sold at Eden Superette and Lotto in Auckland and PAK'nSAVE Riccarton in Christchurch.

"Two lucky Lotto players from Auckland and Christchurch will be on cloud nine after each winning $500,000," Lotto said in a statement.

Twenty-one Lotto players will also be celebrating after each winning $15,050 with Lotto second division.

Three lucky players also won Powerball second division, taking their total winnings to $21,997. The winning Powerball second division tickets were sold at Northwood New World in Christchurch, Countdown Ferrymead in Christchurch and on MyLotto to a player from Tauranga.

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above stores should check their ticket as soon as possible in-store, on MyLotto, or through the Lotto NZ App. 

Powerball was not struck and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $16 million. Strike Four has also rolled over and will be $500,000 on Wednesday night.
