Lotto: Two players win $500,000 as Powerball jackpots to $20 million

Two Lotto players from Whangārei and Auckland are $500,000 richer after both winning first division in Saturday's draw.

The winning tickets were sold at Kamo Lotto in Whangārei and New World Metro Shore City in Auckland.

Meanwhile, 22 lucky Lotto players will also be celebrating after each winning $15,685 in second division in Saturday's draw.

One player also won Powerball second division, taking their total winnings to $39,685. This winning ticket was sold at Central Parade Superette in Mount Maunganui.

Also, two Strike players from Mount Maunganui and Wellington each won $350,000 with Strike Four. The winning Strike tickets were sold at Bayfair Lotto in Mount Maunganui and at New World Newtown in Wellington.

Lotto said anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above shops should check their ticket as soon as possible in-store, on MyLotto, or through the Lotto NZ App. 

Powerball wasn't struck on Saturday and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $20 million.
