Lotto: One player wins $1 million, three others claim over $61k - here's where the winning tickets were sold

Five Kiwis will be waking up on cloud nine after winning various amounts with Lotto on Wednesday night. 

One lucky Lotto player from New Plymouth won $1 million with First Division. 

The winning ticket was sold at The Valley Countdown in New Plymouth.

Powerball was not struck on Wednesday and has rolled over to Saturday night, where the jackpot will be $5 million. 

Meanwhile, a lucky Strike player from Auckland will also be celebrating after winning $900,000 with Strike Four. 

The winning Strike ticket was sold at Otara Post in Auckland. 

Three other Lotto players will also be celebrating a midweek windfall after each winning $61,126 with Second Division. 

The winning Second Division tickets were sold at MyLotto in Auckland and the Coromandel and New World Northwood in Christchurch.

"Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above stores should check their ticket as soon as possible in-store, on MyLotto, or through the MyLotto App," Lotto said.
