Lotto: Auckland player wins $1 million, Christchurch punter claims $500,000 – where winning tickets were sold

A lucky Lotto player from Auckland will be having a blast after winning $1 million with First Division on Saturday night 

The winning ticket was sold at Green & Grocery World in Auckland. 

The winning numbers were 7, 11, 12, 27, 33, and 39. The bonus ball was 24 and powerball was 5.  

Powerball was not struck on Saturday evening and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $6 million. 

A lucky Strike player from Christchurch will also be celebrating after winning $500,000 with Strike Four. The winning Strike ticket was sold on MyLotto to a player from Christchurch. 

Meanwhile, 13 players will be feeling fantastic after each winning $18,797 with Lotto Second Division.  

One lucky player also won Powerball Second Division, taking their total winnings to $34,322. 

The winning Powerball Second Division ticket was sold at New World Nelson City. The winning Second Division tickets were sold at stores in Auckland, Tauranga, Waikato, Whanganui, Lower Hutt, Nelson, Greymouth, Christchurch, Canterbury and Otago.

"Anyone who bought their ticket from Green & Grocery World or on MyLotto should check their ticket as soon as possible in-store, on MyLotto, or through the MyLotto App," a Lotto spokesperson said.
