Lotto: Two players share $1 million – where winning tickets were sold

Two lucky Lotto players have received an early Christmas present after each winning $500,000 with First Division on Wednesday night.   

The winning tickets were sold on MyLotto to players from Auckland and Hamilton.  

The winning numbers were 4, 10, 21, 24, 34 and 40. The bonus ball was 31 and Powerball was 4.  

Powerball was not struck on Wednesday evening and has rolled over to Saturday night, where the jackpot will be $5 million.  

Strike Four has also rolled over and will be $300,000 on Saturday night.  

Meanwhile, nine lucky players will be in for a treat after each winning $21,563 with Lotto Second Division on Wednesday.  

The winning Second Division tickets were sold at Tony’s Stationery & Lotto in Northland, Supervalue Kumeu, Meadowlands Lotto, Mobil Karangahape Road, Station Mart in Auckland and Morere Foodmarket in Wellington. Two players in Auckland and one in Wellington won on MyLotto.  

"Anyone who bought their ticket from on MyLotto should check their ticket as soon as possible in-store, on MyLotto, or through the MyLotto App," a Lotto spokesperson.
