Lotto: Gisborne player wins $1 million, seven other punters claim $27,000 – where winning tickets were sold

A lucky Gisborne Lotto player will be starting the year on a high after winning $1 million with First Division on Wednesday evening.  

The winning ticket was sold on MyLotto to a player from Gisborne. 

The winning numbers were 10, 13, 15, 22, 23 and 35. The bonus ball was 21 and powerball was 9. 

Powerball was not struck on Wednesday evening and has rolled over to Saturday night, where the jackpot will be $5 million. Strike Four has also rolled over and will be $600,000 on Saturday night. 

Meanwhile, seven lucky Lotto players will be in for a treat after each winning $27,501 with Second Division on Wednesday night. 

The winning Second Division tickets were sold at Pak'nSave Lincoln Rd and Eastridge Lotto in Auckland, Raglan Four Square in Raglan, New World Paremata in Porirua and Pak'nSave Timaru. Two players also won on MyLotto from Auckland and Rotorua. 

"Anyone who bought their ticket on MyLotto should check their ticket as soon as possible in-store, on MyLotto, or through the MyLotto App," a Lotto spokesperson said.
